Semi-Closed Rebreather Instructor (Dolphin, Ray, Submatix ST100, Azmuth)

The TDI Semi-Closed Rebreather Instructor Course, which includes the Drager Dolphin and Ray, Submatix ST100 and the Azimuth, trains instructor candidates to present the benefits, proper procedures, hazards and skills of SCR diving to students. Depending on the specific unit, up to six dives will be completed while accumulating up to 150 minutes of bottom time. Instructor candidates will demonstrate mastery of skills that include proper planning, pre-dive checks, bail-out procedures and PO2 monitoring to name a few.

Semi-Closed Rebreather Instructor (Dolphin, Ray, Submatix ST100, Azmuth) Prerequisites:

Minimum age 18
Certified as a TDI Rebreather diver; specific certification required for each specific rebreather
Certified as a TDI Nitrox Instructor, or equivalent
Provide proof of 10 semi-closed rebreather logged dives, dives conducted during this course cannot be included
