As an SDI Scubility Instructor, you will gain the necessary skills and techniques associated with teaching, assisting, and supervising disabled divers.

This training is unlike any other SCUBA instructor courses you have experienced. During the SDI Scubility Instructor program, you will go through various in water steps and dive in numerous manipulated configurations to get firsthand experience to assist you in understanding some of the problems encountered by disabled divers. SDI feels that having learned the program once, the new instructor needs only to be updated on the training aspect of teaching divers with medical conditions and physical disabilities.

After successful completion of the SDI Scubility Instructor program, you will have the opportunity to help build a disabled diver’s confidence and competence in the underwater realm.

Prerequisites

  1. Minimum age 18
  2. Provide proof of
    1. SDI Scubility Dive Buddy certification
    2. Current CPR and first aid certification
    3. Current SDI Open Water Scuba Diving Instructor
