New Depths Diving first TDI Intro to Tech Course

In early September of 2015, New Depths Diving and Dan Downes (Regional Sales Manager for Canada) held an Intro to Tech weekend in Kelowna, BC.  For New Depths Diving, it was their first TDI Intro to Tech course in British Columbia’s beautiful Okanagan Valley. In addition to learning about more detailed dive planning and risk management, choosing and configuring gear, developing skills like equipment handling and situational awareness, and learning and practicing drills, participants enjoyed try dives in Sidemount, Backmount and Rebreathers.

New Depths Diving congratulates its first group of Intro to Tech students and looks forward to guiding and supporting each of these skilled divers as they continue their journey into the world of technical diving. A special thanks to Dan Downes and Dave Tomblin for their support in this successful event. New Depths Diving is a new SDI/TDI facility in West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada offering professional dive training for sport and technical divers. Their instructors are certified by SDI/TDI and all certifications offered are internationally recognized.
