SDI launches Rescue Diver online. This marks the 21st diving course offered in their eLearning platform, allowing divers to complete the academic portion of the Rescue Diving certification online.
“It’s often said that the best lifeguards don’t have to make any rescues, that a true professional can recognize a stress scenario before it happens and intervene with positive results.”
– Brian Carney
The SDI Rescue Diving Course is one of the most rewarding courses you can find as well as fulfilling. In this course you can expect to develop the knowledge and necessary skills to effectively perform diver rescues and assist and administer necessary first aid.
SDI Rescue Diver course teaches skills such as how to perform self rescues, buddy rescues, recognize and calm potential panic divers, administer proper first aid to divers that have experienced dive related injuries, conduct effective search patterns and manage accident scenes. These rescue skills are essential for avid divers, because someday, maybe sooner than you think, you will need them.
If you would like more information about Rescue Diving, please contact SDI World Headquarters or one of their regional offices.
